Have the Duke Gardens reopened?
May 11, 2021 – Sarah P. Duke Gardens will reopen to the public with a limited capacity beginning on June 1. The Gardens will be open to visitors daily from 8 a.m. to dusk. But parking will only be available in the Gardens’ parking lot, with no weekend overflow available in nearby university lots.

Dogs are only permitted before 10 a.m. and after 5 p.m. daily. Dogs must be on a non-retractable leash 6 feet or shorter. No other pets are allowed. Dogs must remain on paths and lawns only, never on or among plantings.
Can you bring your own bike to Duke Farms?

No dogs allowed @ Duke Farms, but just across the river @ Duke Island Park there are also walking trails, and dogs are allowed.
Can you go inside the Duke chapel?
Open to the public from 10 am – 8 pm daily unless noted on the Chapel calendar. Also open for Sunday in-person worship. Please visit the Chapel website for the current schedule of events.
