Are any UF libraries open 24 7?

Traditionally, Library West was the 24-hour library from 2012 to 2017 and 2019, but UF Libraries more recently changed it to Marston Library. However, the 24-hour schedule came to a halt once COVID-19 hit, and it never came back. Now, some UF students are upset they do not have a 24-hour library option on campus.

Can you eat in Marston Library?

Can I eat and drink inside the library? Covered drinks and snacks are permitted in most campus Libraries. Hot entrees, salad, pizza, soup and hot, messy or odorous items must be consumed outside.

Are UF buildings open on weekends?

All HWCOE buildings are open Monday-Friday. The hours of each building can vary in order to accommodate classroom access. The exterior building doors will be electronically locked after the final class has finished for the day. All HWCOE buildings will remain closed during the weekends and on all major holidays.

If you have a Reader Pass you can study at the British Library, even if you’re not using any collection items. Just show your Reader Pass at the Reading Room security desk as you enter. You can also choose which of the Reading Rooms to use, unless you are combining your study time with using collection items.

How do you disinfect a book?

Recommendations: Cleaning and Disinfecting Products

  1. If using 70% Alcohol, then no dilution with water is required.
  2. If using 91% Alcohol, then combine 77ml alcohol with 23ml water to create a 70% solution.

How many libraries does UF have?

UF’s libraries consist of seven libraries; six of which comprise the George A. Smathers Libraries. The Smathers Libraries actively collaborate with the Legal Information Center, which is a part of the Levin College of Law.
