It is probably 7 or 8 miles from Wilmington to the top, but the driving is windy and slow, so probably takes 10 or 15 minutes. But once you get to the parking area, you need to take an elevator or hike to the top, look around, and get back down, which will take you 45 minutes to an hour, I would think.
